Substitute Timekeeping Solution Enhancements

Following enhancements have been made to the substitute timekeeping solution.

  • Substitutes who fail to enter the time during the job, will see a flag Enter time on the finished job to remind them they need to enter the time entries. This flag will be there only when the substitute can still edit the time entries on the job and the entries are not complete.

  • New import format P5 has been added to enable bulk enabling the timekeeping feature on substitute profiles. This will be updated in the import layout guide.

  • Timekeeping operator guide is added to the How To: documents section in Help menu for Operators. Timekeeping substitute guide link is available for substitutes of districts using the timekeeping feature and available within the Help section on the new substitute web.

  • Enhancement was done to have specific error messages (instead of generic error messages) for the timekeeping entries editing feature.

Issue

Viewing Classification Issue

Issue has been resolved where, for some districts, substitute users were not able to view classifications when trying to modify their classification list, when the District would be using the parameter Restrict modifications to allowed classifications list. This has been resolved.

New Parameter

New substitute parameter has been added within Parameters → Administrator → Browser access section under Create Finished jobs parameter, # of days before current date to allow create Finished jobs (with default as blank value). With this parameter, Operators can limit the number of days in the past for Admins, to create back-dated jobs.

New parameter has been added under Jobs parameter, within the Admin menu access permissions, Modify substitute section on job details. This is will be default checked for all Admins/Operators who have Jobs modify access. This can be cleared for Admins if the District wants to restrict substitute modification permission on the job to certain Admins.

Blank Announcement Error

Modifications have been made to display an error when trying to save an announcement without any content in it.

Issue

Classification Name - Employee List Report

Issue has been resolved where bigger classification names would be truncated on the employee list report output. This is fixed to show the entire classification in all report formats for the employee list report.

Create/Edit Job

Issue

Create Absence Page Issue

Issue has been resolved on the new employee web where the employee would exit from the create absence page using the X (close) link and return to Create absence page to proceed with absence creation, which would lead to the page not moving forward. This has been resolved.

The Locations import L1 has been enhanced to support adding location notes as the last field. This field is optional.
