System ParametersImprovementNew Feature - Text Message Job Offers

Text message job offers gives SFE the ability to send job offers to eligible substitutes via text messages. Substitutes must opt-in to receive job offers via text messages, otherwise they will still receive job offers via IVR calls.

New features include:

  • New descriptions added to job filling details within job details - Job Offer Sent, Accepted via Text, Declined via Text.

  • Search rule order list remains the same, only job offer communication method will change for substitutes who opted in to receive text messages.

  • New text message communication log added under System Communication Log to capture inbound/outbound texts.

  • Substitutes can opt in by going to Settings, entering their mobile number, and selecting the Job Offers parameter. This is available on the new substitute web as well as the SFE substitute mobile app.

  • Substitute profile inquiry and substitute detail report have a new filter Text message job offers.

  • Substitute cancellation calls and specified substitute calls, will still be on IVR calls for substitutes who have opted to receive text message job offers.

Issue

Administrator Web Announcement Issue

Resolved the issue where there was HTML content within the Administrator web announcement, which did not display on the home page correctly.

Enhancement has been made where the reasons in the drop-down during the Absence creation in the new employee web will sort by Reason Code if the District selects the parameter Display Reasons by Code in the Browser Access section on the Parameters - General page.

Skip Button Hover-Over Message

To make it more intuitive and easily understandable to employees with more than one absence schedule during absence creation, the Skip and Skip and Submit buttons have been reworded and help text displays when hovered over those buttons in the new employee web UI.

Enhancement has been made in the new employee web UI to the wordings of the date selection options, to make it clearer what each date selection option on the absence creation page does.

CalendarsImprovementSame Day Unavailability Error Message

The error message has been enhanced so substitutes know how to create same day unavailability when they create unavailability from the new substitute web UI for the same day and mistakenly select All Day.

ReportsImprovementReason Group Filter

The Reason Group filter has been added to Job inquiry report within the Reports Menu to allow filtering jobs for specific reason groups before generating the report.
