Configuration
Configuration page collects information on global system configuration parameters.
The maximum days to enter is 1825 or five years.

| # of Days to Keep Finished Jobs | Enter the days to retain finished job segments before the software removes them. It is recommend to retain finished job information for at least the length of your school year to print end-of-year job reports. |
| # of Days to Keep Cancelled | Enter the days to retain cancelled job segments before the software removes them. |
| # of Days to Keep Calling Information | Enter the days to retain Information on all call attempts made on each job and all job transactions, such as assignments and cancellations. This information can be useful when researching unemployment claims. |
| # of Days to Keep Disqualified Information | Enter the days to retain information on all disqualified substitutes for each job. This information can be useful when researching unemployment claims. |
| # of Days to Keep System Log | Enter the days to retain records with a message type of INFORMATION on the system activity log. The software retains activity log records with a message type of ERROR for seven days. 30 days is the maximum value. |
| # of days to Keep Import/Export Logs | Enter the days to retain information on import and export files before the software removes them. |
| Maximum # of Errors Recorded in the System Log | Enter the maximum number of errors for this log to retain. This prevents the system from running out of disk space by recording the same continuous error. It is recommended to set this field be set to 1000. The number of existing errors appears in the notification area of the home page. If the log count is 1000 errors, contact PowerSchool. |
| Delayed Time To Finish Jobs | When a job is in finished status, the administrator cannot extend the dates of the job on the telephone or through the browser. This parameter allows the job to stay at open or active status, so the administrator can extend the job if the absent employee has called to say that they cannot come to work on the assigned day. It is recommended to enter the time one hour after the end time of the latest school in the system to allow enough time for administrators to modify jobs at the end of their workday. |
| Minimum Number of Digits for PIN Numbers | Enter the minimum number of digits required for a user to create a valid PIN. Higher the number of digits relates to a secured PIN. |
| Use XLSX file format for Export to Excel functionality | Select this field to have the system create reports in .xlsx format. |
| Validity of Password (in Days) | Enter the days to keep a user's password valid before the system requires a password change. |
