Employee

The Employee page collects information on global parameter settings for employees.

Description/Action

General

Indicate if you want to allow employees to cancel their absence requests. If you select this option, you can enter the hours and minutes they can cancel the request up until the absence begins. Leave the time blank if you want to allow the employee to cancel the job up until the start time.

You can also select the option to enable unpaid breaks on schedules.

Telephone Access

Select this option if the system should play the substitute’s Access ID to the absentee employee when the employee calls the system to hear who is assigned to their absences.

Browser Access

Select the options for employees to view, edit, perform, or create on the web browser. The options can affect what features employees can use in the software.

Enable New UI for all employees

Select to enable the Employee experience view for employees.

Allow Employees to create NSR jobs in the past

Select to allow employees to create No Substitute Required jobs in the past. If you enable this parameter, choose the appropriate approval level.

Enable employee managed preferred lists

Select to allow employees to create preferred lists of substitutes. If you enable this parameter, enter the number of substitutes employees can add to their list.

View Substitute Telephone Number

Select to allow employees to view substitute phone numbers on the Job Creation page.


Allow Specifying a Substitute by name

Select to enable the Name Lookup button on the Job Creation page. If you do not enable this parameter, employees must search for substitutes by their Access ID.

View Reason Balances

Select to enable the Reason Balances menu option for employees.

Allow Email Address Update

Select to allow employees to update their email addresses.

Show app switcher menu

Select to enable the app switcher button.
