Updated New Substitute Web Enablement and Set to On

The parameter to enable the new substitute web in Parameters > Substitutes > Browser Access Section was removed and set to On by default.

The sub-parameter - Enable New UI for all substitutes - remains in the Parameters list to bulk enable the new substitute web for all substitute profiles.

The parameter to enable the new substitute web for the substitute in the profile view (Is Substitute section) was moved and renamed Enable PowerSchool New Web User Interface.

Added SSO Support for Professional Learning / SmartFind Express Integration

For Districts using the SmartFind Express and Professional Leaning integration, the redirection of the employee from Professional Learning to SmartFind Express to create an absence will happen seamlessly if the user uses SSO to log in to both products.

Updated View of Substitute Auto-Accept for Administrators

For substitutes using the new substitute web, the administrator view of the substitute auto-accept setting is based on the new design of the new substitute web.

Previous settings for the substitute will not be considered when the substitute starts navigating the new substitute web after login.

Added In-App Help for Employees and Administrators

A link to in-app help was added to the Help menu for employees and administrators. Help links will direct the users to in-app help for their persona: Substitute, Employee, Administrator.

Issue

Corrected Display of Cancel Notify: Accept in Job Filling Details Export

Export of the Job filling details report would omit the word Accept from Cancel Notify: Accept. This was fixed.

Absence Approval

Added Parameter for Splitting Approved Jobs

A new parameter was added to Parameters > Jobs > Job Approval - Skip approval process for a split job when split from an approved job.

When this parameter is selected, if there is an approved job that is split, the split segments will carry the previously approved status.

Resolved Site Administrator Access to Do Not Use Data

Site administrators without permission to view/modify Do Not Use priority lists were provided the option to filter/display Do Not Use data on the substitute list and substitute detail reports.

This was resolved, and these options were removed for site administrators without permission.

Profiles

Issue

Corrected Classification Group Overlapping the Available ON Calendar

The Classification Group field would overlap the Available ON calendar date selection field in Profile Inquiry/Report > More search options. This was corrected.
