Job posting dashboard

The dashboard provides a graphical overview of job posting data using charts. You can add or remove charts to customize the dashboard.

  • Select Employers: Click Select Employers to filter by one or more employers. If none are selected, the chart displays data for all employers.

  • Date Range: Use the Date Posted Filter to customize your timeframe. Choose from pre-set options (Past 7, 15, 30 Days; Past 3, 6 Months) or select a Custom Date range. Note: The Job Posting Trend chart displays monthly data by default but supports Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly views.

  • View Details: Click View Details to see data as a list for your selected date range.

Chart Descriptions

The dashboard displays the following six charts related to job postings:

Job Postings

Shows the total number of jobs posted by category. X-axis: Total Job Postings; Y-axis: Job Categories.

Application Performance

This interactive bar chart shows job seekers' interactions with postings by category. X-axis: Number of Applicants; Y-axis: Job Categories. "Number of Applicants" includes both viewers and those who clicked Apply. Hover over any bar to see Total Views and Total Applications Started.

Total versus Filled Jobs (SchoolSpring and Applicant Tracking System Jobs only)

Compares the number of job postings with filled positions across categories. X-axis: Number of Jobs; Y-axis: Job Categories. Hover over any bar to see Total Jobs and Filled Jobs for that category.

Job Posting Trend

Shows the total number of jobs within your selected timeframe, grouped by days, weeks, months, quarters, or years. X-axis: Duration; Y-axis: Number of Jobs Posted. Use the Date Posted Filter to focus on specific periods.

Time to Close (Historic)

Displays the average number of days to close a job by category. X-axis: Average Time to Close; Y-axis: Job Categories. Hover over any bar to see Total Jobs for that category. Note: Average Time to Close is calculated only for jobs with past Close Dates, based on the difference between the Close Date and Date Posted. Data is available only for jobs posted through SchoolSpring and Applicant Tracking.

Job Posting Source

Shows how job postings are distributed across sources as a percentage of total jobs. The center of the donut chart displays the total number of jobs from all sources, and each segment represents the number of jobs contributed by a specific source.
