Substitute Availability

This provides counts for the number of available substitutes in your database for assignments. You can use the substitute counts to determine whether there are enough substitutes to fill open jobs, whether you need to recruit additional substitutes, and if other substitute availability problems exist.

  1. From System Operations, choose Substitute Availability.

  2. By default, the current date displays. Enter a future date if desired.

  3. Enter a time range if you want to view substitute availability for a specific time period.

  4. Click Search.

Substitutes can be unavailable for various reasons, including substitutes assigned to jobs and substitutes who have been disqualified from jobs for the current day. Set up the disqualify criteria on the Parameters – Substitute page.

The system does not call all available substitutes, as their location and classification setup determines if they can be called for assignments. You cannot access the specifics on which substitutes the system determines will be called from this page.

  1. From Administrator, select Profile Inquiry/Reports. Choose Substitute.

  2. Complete the search criteria:Status = Active.Registered = Yes.Avail New Jobs = Yes.Available On = Enter today's date.

  3. Click Search.
