New Hires and Rehires Protected from Mass Deactivation |
Employees hired or rehired through Begin Hire are no longer deactivated by Mass Deactivation before their records reach the district's ERP. Records will automatically exclude these users from Data Import Tool Mass Deactivation, preserving the user record along with job type assignments and supervisor and direct report relationships. The exclusion is removed automatically the first time the employee appears in a Staff Import file, after which standard deactivation rules apply. This update applies to all districts using Begin Hire together with Mass Deactivation. As part of this change, the “Include in Sync” checkbox on the user record is renamed to Exclude from Data Import Tool Mass Deactivation, to reflect what it controls. Usernames No Longer Include Unexpected Numbers |
Resolved an issue for districts configured with third-party authentication (OIDC/SAML), where usernames were updated with unexpected numbers. Usernames will remain exactly as entered across manual creation, Begin Hire onboarding, and Data Import Tool (DIT) imports, allowing staff to log in using their expected credentials. |
