School Years
Overview
Mentors and mentees will be organized by school year. School year information will be displayed on the data dashboard, mentee profile section, and mentor profile section.
Configure school years
Configuring school years helps mentors track the progress of goals, align mentees, and report for that specific school year.
Administrators can add a future school year to allow mentors to plan future mentoring sessions.
Elements | Description |

School year | Lists the school year. |
Start date | Indicates the start date of the school year for the mentoring program. The end date is automatically set to one year from the selected start date, as defined by the admin. |
End date | Indicates the date and the month the school year ends. |
Include in list | When Include in List is selected, the School Year will appear in the School Year selector within the Participant List and on the Dashboard. |
Current year | The system automatically flags a school year as “Current” if today’s date falls within its start and end date range. Users do not need to manually enter an end date. |
Actions | Allows administrators to edit the Select Month and Start Day for the specific school year. |
Add School Year
To add a school year:
Click Add.
Select Start Month.
Select Start Year.
To view the school year in the list, select Include in List.
Click Save.
