You can record a voicing at your site for codes that must be played over the telephone. For example, new locations, classifications, calendars, and reasons are voiced after they are created. You can customize voicing IDs such as the welcome message. These IDs have the Can Modify? field selected. The system generates a voicing ID number for each item and is entered on the telephone.
You can search for a voicing ID by its annotation. Enter the wording of the item and click Search. This field is case-sensitive. If an annotation contains this value, it displays.
Modify a Voicing
If a Voicing ID is set up as modifiable, you can:

Modify the annotation and description. We recommended the annotation reflect an accurate representation of the telephone voicing.

Voice or re-voice the recording.
To search for voicing IDs:

From Telephone, choose Telephone Voicing.

Enter criteria, then click Search.

Click the ID.

Make edits to the Description and Annotation as needed.
You can only edit voicings that display Yes for Modify? on the Telephone Voicing list.

Click Set Annotation.
