Registration Notifications
- Choose Professional Learning from the main menu.
- Click Configuration.
- Choose Registration Notifications or Approval Notifications.
- Click the toggles to activate the appropriate notifications.
- Click edit (pencil icon).
- Update the notification content and settings as needed.
- To insert a macro, click copy (clipboard icon), then paste it into the message field.
- Click Save.
Registration notifications are sent out when someone registers for a course, if a course changes, is canceled, waitlisted, or if there is a withdrawal or instructor reminder.
Baseline registration notifications
Course Complete Email: An email that the instructor may send to confirm completion of a section.
First Section Reminder: The first reminder email will be sent to learners a fixed amount of time before a section begins.
Registration Confirmation: The email is sent to confirm enrollment in a section.
Section End Reminder To Instructors: Reminds instructors to take attendance, give grades, and lock roster entries after the last day of an offering.
Second Section Reminder: The second reminder email to be sent to learners, a fixed amount of time before a section begins.
Section Canceled Email: An email is sent to all learners in a section that is canceled.
Section Date/Time Change: Informs learners of a date/time change on the section they are registered for.
Section Deleted Email: An email is sent to all learners in a section that is deleted.
Section Start Reminder to Instructors: Reminds instructors to perform tasks such as printing rosters and returning them to the PD office before the start of the offering.
Withdrawal Confirmation: The email that is sent when someone is removed from a section roster.
Registered from Wait List: Email sent when a user from the wait list gets registered for the section.
Registration Link from Wait List: An email is sent when a user can register for a waitlisted section, provided they have unregistered from another section first. A link is provided to allow them to confirm their decision to proceed.
Registration Link from Wait List - Conflicting Section: An email is sent when a user can register for a waitlisted section, provided they have unregistered from another section with conflicting times in a different course first. A link is provided to allow them to confirm their intention to proceed.
If your district wants to update notifications or personalize messages, you can modify these configurations by navigating to Professional

Learning > Configuration > Registration Notifications.
