Calendar

The calendar provides a color-coded overview of all events relevant to you and your role. You can link your Professional Development calendar with your personal account. Refer to Link to external calendar for more information.

Access your calendar

  1. On the header, click the calendar icon.

  2. Click Full Calendar to access the detailed calendar.

  3. Select the color-coded calendar events you want to access on your calendar.

The calendar will update automatically.

View events

There are multiple ways to view events on the calendar.

  • Place your cursor over any event to view a brief summary of that event..

  • For a detailed description of each event, click on the event title.

  • Click "List View" to see all events for the current month in a list format. Click "Month View" to return to the calendar layout.

  • To see all events on a specific date, click the date number in the current calendar or in the small calendars on the right.

  • To view detailed information about a specific event, select the date while in list format or viewing a specific date.

  • To view events from a different month, use the drop-down menus to select the desired month and year, or click the arrow to navigate to the previous or next month.

Print your calendar

To print your calendar, click Print View.

A printer-friendly version of the current view will open in a new window. Only selected event types will be included. Right-click to access a menu with options to save or print the calendar.

Download an iCal calendar

To download your calendar as an iCal calendar, click Download iCal.

This will download a copy of your portal calendar. Please import it into your personal calendar according to your email application's instructions.

You are downloading a snapshot of the portal calendar.

Updates made to the portal calendar will not appear in your downloaded calendar, and updates made to your downloaded calendar will not appear in the portal calendar.

Manage calendar events

If your role allows it, you can view, add, and update calendar events by clicking on Event Manager. Events that are accessible to you will be displayed. You can use the search fields to find a specific event. To return to the calendar, click on Month View.

Add an event

  1. From the Calendar Events screen, select New Event. Alternatively, select Create New Event from the side menu.

  2. Complete the form and click Save and Set Locations.

  3. If necessary, determine the location by using the drop-down menus. Then click Add.

  4. Click Done.

You will return to the Calendar Events screen.
