Limiting substitute messaging on Finished job after set number of days after job completion

The new ‘messaging on the job’ feature has been enhanced to limit substitute messaging on Finished jobs only up to a certain number of days after job completion. To enable this parameter, navigate through the menu path: Parameters, General, Substitute additional instructions/Messaging on the jobs, and then select Allow substitute messaging on Finished job up to __ days after job end.

JobImprovementNew absence creation validation to restrict absence creation to multiple of 1-hour, 2-hours, and so on

Validation for new absence creation has been added to restrict absence creation by employees only to multiple set values (in terms of minutes) like 60 minutes, 120 minutes, and so on. This would allow the district to restrict absences to only multiples of that value when using the ‘Custom’ job duration option, so that employees will not create absences for 65 minutes, 90 minutes, and so on. To enable this validation, navigate through the menu path: Parameters, Job, Job Creation, and then select Restrict absence creation to multiple of __ mins.

Ability to route job related email to only employee's supervisors

A new feature has been added to route job-related emails (job creation, cancelation, or modification) only to the employee’s absence approving administrators if the school district utilizes ‘User-based absence approvals’. This will minimize the number of emails sent to all the administrators with location access to the job. To enable this feature, navigate through the menu path: Parameters, Communication, Email Settings, and then select Restrict absence creation/modification/cancellation emails only to employee's supervisors or absence approving Administrators.

Ability to choose Date selection categories on new employee web absence creation

Additional choices have been introduced for selecting date categories displayed to employees during absence creation on the new employee web. By default, Calendar dates will be available for absence date selection. To access these options, navigate through the menu path: Parameters, Employee, and then select Date selection options for absence creation on new employee web.

Minor French corrections to Job Offer text messages

Minor French language corrections were made to the Job Offer and Welcome text messages that were sent to the substitutes.

Resolution to 'day not in schedule' when substitute has availability

There were a few reports of getting a ‘day not in the schedule’ disposition on the job when a substitute was available. This has been resolved in the 24.4 SFE version.
