Job ShoppingImprovementFeature to auto-populate substitute text instructions on the job from the employee profile

A text field, Absence text instructions for substitutes has been added to the Optional Info setting in the Employee profile. This field can be imported via a new import in the format: P|C|8|<Employee access ID>|<Text instructions>|. For example, for Access ID 3333 with sample text, the format will be: P|C|8|3333| Please reach on time, my room number is 101, I teach English and Mathematics|.

To enable this parameter, navigate through the menu path: Parameters, Employee, and then select Show "Absence instructions to substitutes" to employees to view and edit and automatically add on absence creation

This field will auto-populate as substitute text instructions during employee absence creation on the new employee web. Employees can change or add more instructions if required.

Additionally, an enhancement allows substitutes to view the instructions directly, without needing to click the Instructions button, for easier access.

Hiding substitute ability to block or unblock job offer communication

A parameter has been added to hide the option for substitutes to either block or unblock (if they had previously blocked) job offer calls from the application.

To enable this parameter, navigate through the menu path: Parameters, Substitute, Browser Access, and then select Disable changes to "Block calls" from the system.

ProfilesImprovementSubstitute Feedback feature extended to Vacancies

A parameter has been added for administrators to view the feedback link on the job details of filled vacancies and give feedback to the substitute. This will also be incorporated in the substitute feedback report.

To enable this parameter, navigate through the menu path: Parameters, General, Substitute feedback on the job section, and then select Allow substitute feedback on vacancies

Substitute File Attachments feature to allow substitutes to add attachments to a job

A feature, Substitute File Attachments has been added to the Job Detail page to allow substitutes to add attachments to a job. They could add Excel sheets of student attendance, feedback forms, and so on. The administrators having access to the job will be able to view the attachments added by the substitute.

Substitute Schedule feature to allow substitute times to default to location times

An additional checkbox, Substitute times on Absence defaulted to location times (Employee absence times can be different) has been added to the Classification Groups' configuration. When enabled, the processing will default the substitute times on absence to the location times during Absence creation.
