Dates

Dates indicate a substitute or employee profile is expired and cannot take a job or create an absence. You can assign dates on substitute and employee profiles. Users receive notification on their home page and via telephone if their profiles expire.

Add Dates

  1. From System Configuration, choose Dates.
  2. Click New.
  3. Enter the Code and Name.
  4. Complete the remaining fields:
    • # Days in advance to notify - Enter the days to notify a substitute or employee their profile will expire. If you leave this field blank, there will be no notification.
    • Available in Profiles - Choose the profiles that can use the date on the Dates tab of their profile. If you choose to have the date available in both profiles, you can use a shared or different date. A shared date stores the same date in both profiles, such as a birthdate. A different date stores different dates in the profiles. For example, a substitute and employee profile may have different Start Dates.
    • Choose Yes or No to indicate if the profiles should expire.
  5. Click Save.

Manage Dates

  1. From System Configuration, choose Dates.
  2. Click the Code for the record to modify or delete.
  3. Edit the fields as needed.
  4. Click Save.
  5. To remove a date, click Delete. Click Yes.
