The update ensures that permissions are correctly enforced for users with office roles, preventing unauthorized access to course management screens and features. The updated permissions include:

  • Can edit roster

  • Can cancel and reinstate sections

Course Resources: Issues with "Read More"

Resolved an issue regarding the Read More button in Course Resources, which was not functioning as intended. Previously, when users clicked the Read More button, they would get the "The server responded unexpectedly. If the problem persists, please notify your administrator." error message.

Administrators or users with the necessary access can verify this fix by following these steps: Navigate to Manage > Manage Courses, open a course with resources, and click the Read More button. The expected outcome is that the Read More button will function correctly without error messages.

Transfer credit approval process: Unable to delete

A Transfer Credit Approval Process linked to an approval type cannot be deleted. Previously, the system incorrectly highlighted the delete icon, suggesting the process could be deleted. This issue has been fixed, and a message has been added to inform users when deletion is not allowed.

Outlook Calendar: Connection and Sync issues

Resolved an issue where courses were not syncing to the Outlook calendar, even though the calendar was linked and a confirmation message indicated that it would be added. The linked Outlook calendar should now reflect the courses a learner has registered for.
