Course payment

We have added a self-serviceable and user-friendly Course Payment feature to the new interface of the Professional Learning system.

This feature allows you to set fees for learning opportunities and link monetary transactions in your PD management system with payment processors like Cybersource, Paypal, and Authorize.net .

Enabling the Course Payment feature requires turning on the new Course Catalog and My Courses features.

The following is a high-level workflow:

  • System Administrators are responsible for configuring payment processors and managing invoices related to course payments.

  • Instructors have the ability to set fees for their courses and manage charges for learners with permission.

  • Learners pay for courses during the registration process. They keep records of their transactions or print out their invoices.

Refer to the user guide or talk to your PowerSchool representative to enable this feature.

Missing historical user transcripts

Resolved an issue related to transcripts, where historical records were no longer visible. The issue has been fixed now, and the historical records are visible again.

Incorrect message when filtering by Section title

Resolved an issue where the system was showing a message that there were no sessions created, even when sessions existed in the course. We have corrected this behavior to display "No Sections Built" only if there are no sections in the grid and no filters applied. Otherwise, an empty grid with the currently applied filters will be shown.

To test this fix, navigate to Professional Learning, and click Manage Courses.

Unable to export section enrollment history

There was an issue with exporting the enrollment history of a specific section. The system failed to generate a CSV file when attempting to export the history, which resulted in no action. Exporting the history as a PDF file was also unsuccessful. This was due to the enrollment history containing more than 5000 records. It's important to note that the system is designed to export no more than 5000 records at a time.

When there are more than 5000 records on the screen, an error message will be displayed, indicating that the export should be initiated for less than 5000 records only: Please refine your search to include no more than 5000 records.

Resolved an issue where users experienced download issues with large PDF evaluation plan attachments.

External calendars: Unable to sync Class time updates

Resolved an issue where external calendars would not synchronize class time updates. The application now updates the calendar when the following changes are made to class times in a section:

  • Class time details are added

  • Class time details are deleted

  • Class time details are updated

PD Reports: Updated Adhoc Reporting

Updated the user interface for Adhoc Reporting within PD Reports.

  • Users with admin rights can run PD reports for all users they have site, district, or state admin rights over.

  • Users with both Admin and Course rights can run PD reports for all users they have admin or course rights over.

Note that if you have only course rights, Person info will not be included in Roster reports. On the other hand, if you have admin rights, Roster reports will only include people within your admin rights.
