Dynamic registration
The Dynamic Registration feature allows admins or authorized users to automatically add learners to course rosters based on site, position, demographics, or custom fields, eliminating the need to search for each individual. This ensures the right learners are enrolled efficiently and supports compliance requirements.
To access, navigate to the required section roster, select Add Learners, and select from one of the following options:
Manually select learners: Individual selection or advanced add.
Define dynamic rules: Bulk assignment by site, role, demographics, or other attributes.
When registering learners (manually or dynamically), administrators can:
Assign credits associated with the course.
Configure multiple section enrollment rules (e.g., prevent learners from registering for more than one section).
Enable or disable notifications to inform learners of their registration.

Rules & Behaviors
Learners added through dynamic targeting remain on the roster even if targeting rules or group membership change.
If a learner is removed from the roster, they will not be automatically re-added.
Dynamic targeting does not apply to canceled, locked, or archived courses or sections.
If a learner fails to register (for example, due to multi-section enrollment restrictions), the system does not retry.
Targeting continues until the selected end date or section end date. If neither exists, targeting runs indefinitely.
