Course Catalog Configuration

The Course Catalog Configuration defines various parameters for each course, including dates, learning opportunities, course type, target audience, curriculum areas, modes of interaction, topics, competencies, credits, ratings, and the assigned instructor. These settings enable filtering and searching within the course catalog based on these criteria. Additionally, there is an option to upload a course thumbnail image for users to view in the catalog.

Baseline configuration

• Faceted navigation is enabled, with all options turned on.

• The option to upload a coarse tile image is enabled.

To update the setting, navigate to Professional Learning > Configuration> Course Catalog Configuration.  

Your system is already configured with Quick Start Smart Choice; no action is required.

Configure course ratings

Starting v25.9.0.0, participants can rate and pin courses.

To enable:

1. Navigate to PdAdmin, and select Course Catalog Settings.

2. Select Allow Users to Pin courses in the Course Catalog to enable participants to easily access and prioritize their favorite courses for quicker navigation.

3. Select Allow Course Ratings to enable participants to rate courses they have completed.

Changes are saved automatically.

• If yes, select the filters 

• Decide if you want to upload the course tile image 

• If yes, upload an image  

You are now ready for Rosters & Registration.
