Professional LearningCourse Administration

Roster Attachments:

  • This enhancement helps districts comply with federal and state audits where a hard copy of items like the sign-in sheets are required.
  • This feature is on by default for all clients.

Withdraw Icon:

  • Users who have paid for a course will now see the same withdraw icon they see with courses that did not require payment. Before, users would see the word withdraw as a link.

  • No workflow changes were made to payment refunds or processing with this change.

Improved Course Search:

  • The text search used for searching courses and sections has been updated to provide more relevant results based on the terms entered into the search box.

  • Users can search by course number, course title, section number, section title, course description, section description, and instructor names.

  • On the Manage Requests and My Requests pages in the Transfer Credit module, the default filter value will now be All Approval Types until a user changes the filter value.

  • Changing the value will make it the new default filter value for that user.
SCORM Support

Users can use SCORM for courses:

  • SCORM is now supported for self-paced courses.

  • Course creators can upload a SCORM compliant course package and users can take the course from the course search page.
  • Completion is tracked on the roster.

To enable SCORM as an option, please contact support.

OAuth Endpoint Configuration Screen

OAuth Endpoint Configuration Screen:

  • Technical Consultants can now modify existing OAuth Endpoints, or create new ones via the UI for LMS integrations.
  • The configuration screen is located in Course Administration under Manage OAuth Endpoints.
Course Providers

Manage Course Provider UI:

  • Technical Consultants can now add, enable, or disable course providers via a new link in Course Administration.

  • Once a course provider is enabled, it appears in the course provider drop-down in the course edit screen.

If you enable a course provider for a client that has multiple servers, you may not see the course provider listed on all servers for up to two hours.

Calendar SyncWhen a user is manually added to a roster, and that user has linked their Office 356 and/or Google calendar to the Professional Learning system, the course will now appear in the user's calendar like it would if that user had registered for the course themselves.
