Release 23.7.0.0 - July 2023
Product Updates
Product Area | Type | Summary | Release Note |
Drop Downs | Improvement | Editable Location Types | Location types are now editable in Perform to improve analysis for admins. New location types can be added and existing location types can be modified. Employee Records customers should note that location types modified in Perform will also modify the same location types in Employee Records. |
Dynamic Roles | Improvement | Added Does Not Contain Rule for Job Titles | A new rule has been added to help define Perform Roles. Use the “does not contain” rule on Job Titles to filter selected job title information. |
Dynamic Roles | Improvement | Added Exclude Users Rule | Similar to using the “Users” rule to help maintain criteria around who is in a role or which staff they have access to, the “Exclude Users” rule enables a list to explicitly exclude people from a role or the staff they have access to. |
eForms | Improvement | New Field is Visible Property | eForms now features a new “Field is Visible” property. This property is supported for short answers, calculated fields, and additional data type fields. If unchecked, the field will not appear on any forms or when printing, but can be used when exporting data. |
Export | Issue | Resolved Export Tool Issue | Previously, when viewing the results in the Export tool, it was not possible to use the search results filter bar. This issue has been resolved and it is now possible to filter both on the form filter criteria as well as the search criteria bar. |
HR Tools | Issue | Resolved Default Due Date Issue | Previously, no default due date was provided if the process deadline used the “Within X days of the supervisor starting the process for the employee” feature. This issue has been resolved and the date is calculated and will default when starting a process. |
Reports | Issue | Resolved Filtering By Process Issue | Previously, filtering by process for the "Direct Reports with Complete Evaluation" report was not correctly filtering results. This has been resolved. |
Rubrics | Issue | Resolved Data Display Issue in Drop Downs and Code Sets | Previously, when adding new values to an existing drop drown or code set, the data entered in the descriptor field did not always display when previewing, especially when the data set had been modified. This issue has been resolved. |
Rubrics | Issue | Resolved Double Quotes Issue | Previously, the “Align notes to form” feature did not work when double quotes were used in the Rubric Standard Description field. This has been resolved and double quotes are now usable. |
Rubrics | Issue | Resolved Duplicate Rubrics Issue | Previously, when trying to add an artifact, duplicate rubrics would appear, especially if there were multiple versions of the rubric. This issue has been resolved and the correct rubric appears once. |
Support | Issue | Resolved Password Reset Issue | Previously, if it was necessary to contact PowerSchool Support with regards to resetting passwords, the support information provided was incorrect. This issue has been resolved. |
Process Dashboard | Issue | Resolved Process Dashboard Issue | Previously, when setting up a form with folder privileges in which anyone (Supervisor, HR Staff, System Admin, Delegated Evaluator) with access to a Process Dashboard cannot see a form upon completion and tries to access the Process Dashboard, the forms they can see have been shifted left (one cell for each form they cannot view), putting the forms into the wrong column headers. This issue has been resolved and the form information appears in the correct place. |
Process Tasks | Issue | Resolved Editing Process Tasks Issue | Previously, when editing actions for process tasks, the confirmation modal would get stuck in certain scenarios. This issue has been resolved. |
Staff | Issue | Resolved Checkbox Display Issue | Previously, when assigning a task for a staff member, the “Send notifications to selected staff” checkbox did not always display. This issue has been resolved and the checkbox displays correctly. |
