The Mentee Dashboard allows mentees to view their coaching hours, track progress in different support areas, and review mentoring sessions over time.
2. How do I access my Mentee Dashboard?
Log in to PowerSchool Coaching and Mentoring.
Navigate to My profile.
Click on your name to view your coaching details.
3. Can I switch between different school years?
Yes, you can use the School Year dropdown in the top-right corner to view coaching history for previous years.
4. What information is available in my Check-in Logs?
Each row in your log includes:
Check-in Date: When the mentoring session took place.
Support Areas: The specific coaching areas covered.
Hours Coached: The time spent in that session.
Last Activity Date: The most recent interaction related to that check-in.
5. Why do some logs show multiple support areas?
Some mentoring sessions address multiple aspects of professional development, so they are categorized under different support areas.
6. Can I edit my Check-in Logs?
Yes, if your administrator has given you the access to edit
7. How do I manually record coaching hours?
Click the Record time button manually at the top of the screen (if enabled for mentees) and enter the required details.
8. What does the ‘Record and Analyze’ button do?
This button allows you to record your mentoring session, use PowerBuddy to analyze progress, and generate insights based on your coaching sessions.
9. What do the "Active" and "Inactive" labels mean under Support Areas?
Active: You are currently receiving coaching in this support area.
Inactive: You are not receiving coaching in this area, but past records are still visible.
10. How do I see a breakdown of my coaching hours?
Your total coaching hours are displayed under the Support Areas tab. Switch to the Check-in Logs tab for a detailed session history.
11. Why do I see different coaching hours for different support areas?
Each support area (e.g., Planning and Preparation, Learning Environments) tracks time separately, so hours may vary based on where you received coaching.
12. Can I manually edit or add coaching hours?
No, mentees cannot edit coaching hours directly. However, mentors or administrators can adjust hours if necessary.
13. What is the ‘Record and Analyze’ button used for?
This button lets you view detailed coaching data and analyze trends in your mentoring sessions.
14. What happens if I don't see my recent coaching hours?
Try the following:
Refresh the page.
Make sure you're viewing the correct school year.
Contact your mentor or administrator to confirm that hours have been recorded.
15. My coaching hours are incorrect or missing—what should I do?
Reach out to your mentor or administrator to verify and update your records.
16. Who should I contact for technical issues with my dashboard?
