Find Available Jobs
Web App and Mobile App
Job search is your start page in both the web and mobile apps.
In the Substitute experience view, the Available Jobs tab is the home page.
From the Available list, view a summary of all jobs matching your qualifications and preferences.
To view the job schedule and details, expand the row.
To take a job assignment, click Accept.
- OR-
To hide a job from the list, click Decline. Select a Reason for Declining, then click Confirm.
If the system determines that a substitute is in the process of accepting the job via telephone, the job will not be assigned. If the job assignment is successful, a job number is provided.
Occasionally refresh your search results. The list of available jobs can change as other substitutes accept assignments and jobs are added.
Calendar View
View jobs available to you and your active jobs in one place.
In the web app, click My Calendar. Click any job to view its details.
In the mobile app, select Calendar. Tap a date to view the job list for that day.
Telephone
Call In
Use the telephone number provided by your district to call in for available jobs.
- From the main menu, select 2 Hear Available Jobs.
- Available jobs for the current day will play, including the absent employee’s name, location, classification, special instructions, and dates and times.
- After each job plays, accept or decline the assignment. If you decline, choose a reason.
If you decline an assignment, you may be disqualified from being offered other jobs via telephone that day.
Call Out
Depending on your settings, you might receive automated telephone calls regarding available jobs.
- Enter your access ID, then press the star key.
- Enter your PIN, then press the star key.
- The job information will play, including the absent employee’s name, location, classification, and dates and times.
- Any special instructions will play.
Accept or decline the assignment. If you decline, choose a reason.
Press the star key for the system to wait up to two minutes. When the system calls, if someone else answers the telephone, or you have to locate your login information, the system will wait for approximately two minutes. If, after that time, no Access ID is entered, the system will disconnect and record the call as unanswered.
