Parameters | Improvement | New feature: Reason Balance Auto Accruals | New parameter has been added to Parameters - General - General section - “Enable auto-accruals for reason balances”. When this new parameter is checked, auto accruals or replacements can be set on employee reason balance ‘allocation’ value. For using the Reason Balance auto accrual, navigate to System Configuration - Reasons Absence/Vacancy - “Set Balance” within the Employee Balances column on the reason where the auto accrual needs to be set up. The radio button “Set up auto updates” should be checked to set the schedule frequency of the auto accruals.

Parameters | Improvement | New parameter to consider gap between AM and PM half as unpaid break | New parameter has been added to Parameters - Employees - Browser Access section - “Enable the feature to consider gap between AM and PM half for reason balance calculation”. When this parameter is checked, the employee schedule would show an additional checkbox “Consider gap between AM half and PM half for reason balance calculation”. If this new checkbox on the employee schedule is selected, the gap between AM and PM half will be treated as Unpaid Break if they take an absence which covers the AM and PM half timings. The reason balance will not be deducted for the unpaid break times. The value of gap between AM and PM half will be considered above the unpaid break put on the employee schedule and the unpaid break put on the classification profile. |

If this parameter is checked, the substitutes will not be able to edit their callback number from the web site. |
Parameters | Improvement | New feature: Employee quick search | New parameter has been added to Parameters - Administrators - Browser Access section - “Show quick employee search bar” . This parameter is applicable if using the new Admin layout. When this parameter is selected, Admins and Operators would see a new search bad on the top right side on the blue banner of their SFE web. They can search for employees/substitute/admins (based on whom they have access to based on locations and menu access), by entering their first name or last name or Access ID. Search results be shown based on matching data and when clicked on the search result, the Admin will be navigated to that employee’s profile. |
Parameters | Improvement | New feature: Employee Reason Balance Audit Trail | New parameter has been added to Parameters - General - General section - “Show reason balance audit trail”. When this parameter is checked, the employee’s reason balance page (shown to Administrators and Operators) would have a new button “Reason balance audit trail”. When clicked on this new button, a new page captures all the events (Absence creation/modification/cancellation, Reason balance changes such as accruals, changes) which affected the reason balance for the employee along with date time stamp. This information can also be exported, by using the ‘Export to excel’ feature. Also, to display only those reasons to employees on their reason balance which are applicable to them, the ‘Reason Menu’ feature can be used. Further enhancement has been by adding a new parameter “Show employee reason balances based on reason menu” within Parameters - General - Under “Use Reason Menus”. When this parameter is checked, only those reasons applicable to the employee based on the Reason Menu configuration and the schedule of the employee, will be shown on the employee reason balance page. This can be done to avoid displaying inapplicable reasons. |
Job Shopping | Improvement | Change of Keywords Stop and Unstop for texting | Enhancement has been done to allow using other keywords for the text message job offers features. Pause should be used instead of Stop, if the substitute wishes to opt out of using text message and receive calls. Resume should be used instead of Unstop, if the substitute wants to opt in to receive text message job offers. |
Job Shopping | Improvement | Substitutes' ability to filter jobs by locations from within location groups | Enhancement has been done to show locations within the location groups, on the profile of the substitute, in case they want to use the Location filter for their job search on the new substitute web. This would allow them to filter job for specific locations even if they have location groups on their profile. |
