Release 21.5.0.0 - May 2021
Product Updates
Product Area | Type | Summary | Release Note |
---|---|---|---|
Application | Improvement | Updated first-time login instructions for users with assigned password | When an administrator configures an initial password for a user, the "User must change password at next login" checkbox must be selected and the password shared with the user to force a password change upon first login. However, when new users with an assigned password selected the "Logging in for the first time” link on the login screen and entered their email address, they received a message saying they already had district credentials and to contact their system administrator for assistance. The message was updated to instruct the user to use the “Forgot your password?” option from the previous screen so they can follow the reset password link instead of contacting their system administrator. |
Checklists | Issue | Fixed duplicated tasks in reminder notification | When sending reminders for incomplete tasks, tasks that were assigned to a group showed up multiple times in the email body. This has been corrected. |
Folders | Improvement | Redesigned folder sleeves | Folder details (sleeves) from the Configuration menu were restyled to the new Records UI. |
Folders | Improvement | Redesigned Folders page | The Folders page from the Configuration menu was restyled to the new Records UI. |
Forms | Issue | Completing a W-4 updated the employee’s name | Previously, when completing a W-4 form, the name entered would update the staff demographic name in the system. Now, this field is read-only; the first and last name prepopulate from the Records demographic information. If you are a PowerSchool eFinancePlus user, the behavior may alter slightly. Consult your product documentation for details. |
Printing | Issue | Reduced spacing on PDFs | When printing eForms as PDF, extra spacing resulted in additional pages. This has been corrected. |
Security | Issue | Fixed alignment issue | Fixed an issue where security groups did not align properly on the Security configuration page. Also added lines between rows to better delineate the information. |
